1. University Librarian
- Number of Posts: 01 (Unreserved)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 – 2,18,200/- (Academic Level 14)
2. University Deputy Librarian
- Number of Posts: 01 (OBC/MOBC)
- Pay Scale: Rs. 78,800 – 2,11,500/- (Academic Level 12)
Nature of Post: Permanent (with 01-year probation period)
Eligibility Criteria
For University Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Librarian in a University Library, OR 10 years of teaching experience as Assistant/Associate Professor in Library Science, OR 10 years as a College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative library services, including integration of ICT in library operations.
- Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation / Archives and Manuscript-keeping.
For University Deputy Librarian:
- Master’s Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science with at least 55% marks.
- 08 years of experience as Assistant University Librarian / College Librarian.
- Evidence of innovative library services with ICT integration.
- Ph.D. Degree in Library Science / Information Science / Documentation Science / Archives and Manuscript-keeping / Computerization of library.
