Post Code 01 is the Generalist Officer post; all others are Specialist Officer posts. Vacancies include reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD categories (horizontal reservation). The number of vacancies is provisional and may change as per bank requirements.
Key Eligibility Highlights (as on 01.08.2026)
Eligibility (age, educational qualification, and post-qualification work experience) varies by post. Broad overview:
- Manager (Branch Management) – Scale II: Graduation in any discipline + 3 years as Officer in Scheduled Public/Private Sector Bank (at least 2 years in Branch Banking). Age: 23–33 years.
- IT-related posts (Manager/Senior Manager IT, IS, ISA, Database, Network, Cyber Security): Relevant B.E./B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. degrees + specified years of post-qualification experience in IT/BFSI domains (ranging from 2–8 years depending on scale and role). Domain-specific hands-on experience mandatory for most posts.
- Credit posts: MBA (Finance)/equivalent or CA/CMA + relevant credit experience (3 years for Scale II, 6 years for Scale III).
- Risk Officer – Scale III: Relevant finance/risk qualifications + 5 years experience in risk/credit/forex/treasury/finance.
- Assistant Manager (Security) – Scale I: Graduate + computer certification/paper + retired JCO (or equivalent) / Inspector-level from Paramilitary/Police with minimum 5 years service. Age: 30–45 years. Medical category SHAPE-1 (except PwBD).
Age relaxations applicable as per Government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen, etc. Candidates must produce original documents at the interview stage.
Selection Process
- Online Examination (Objective type – 100 questions, 2 hours)
- Generalist (Branch Management): English + Professional Knowledge (Banking)
- Other posts: English + General Awareness (Banking) + Professional Knowledge (post-specific)
- Interview for candidates qualifying the online exam.
Minimum qualifying marks apply in the Professional Knowledge section. Negative marking of 1/4th for wrong answers.

- SC/ST/PwBD: ₹175 (intimation charges only)
- All others (including OBC & EWS): ₹1,000

- Probation periods: 6 months (Branch Management Scale II), 1 year (most Specialist posts), 2 years (Security Officers).
- Bond amount applicable: ₹2 lakh (JMGS I) / ₹2.5 lakh (MMGS II & III) for 3 years of active service.
