Job Opportunities: Assistant Professor (Mathematics) and Librarian at Scottish Church College
Applications are invited from Indian Citizens for the substantive post of Assistant Professor in the department of Mathematics & Librarian of the College. The qualification shall be as per UGC Regulations, 2018. Application form is to be downloaded from the “Job Opportunities” section of the college website (www.scottishchurch.ac.in).
Application fee: Non-refundable DD of Rs. 500.00 drawn in favour of “Scottish Church College Council A/c No. 20805266537” drawn/payable on any bank in Kolkata. Applicants who have appliedagainst Advt. No. TS/01-2023 dated 04/08/2023 for Mathematics Only need not to pay theapplication fee, they may only submit the fresh application.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
(i) The recruitment will be in accordance with the latest UGC Regulations 2018 read with the
corrigendum published on 30th June, 2023 and the Gazette of India dated 01/08/2023 and any
specific guidelines issued by the UGC from time to time from the date of issue of this employment
notification.
(ii) Mere eligibility will not entitle any candidate to be called for interview. The short listing of the
candidates to be called for interview shall be done as per UGC Regulations, 2018.
(iii) The college reserves the right to Revise/Reschedule/Suspend the recruitment process without
assigning any reason. The decision of the college shall be final and no appeal in this regard shall
be entertained.
(iv) Number of candidates to be called for interview shall be decided by the college.
(v) Any corrigendum/changes/updates related to the recruitment process shall be available on the
college website, https://www.scottishchurch.ac.in
(vi) Please attach the requisite amount of DD and attested copies of documents with the application.
(vii) Incomplete application will be rejected.
(viii) Applicants already in service (Government/Private) must apply through proper channel.
