UGC-NET June 2026 Notification Out

The National Testing Agency (NTA), on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC), has officially released the notification for the UGC-NET June 2026 examination. The online registration portal is now live from 29th April 2026.

This is your chance to qualify for:

• Award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor
• Appointment as Assistant Professor and admission to Ph.D.
• Admission to Ph.D. only

The exam will be conducted for 87 subjects in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

• General-EWS / OBC-NCL: ₹600/-
• SC/ST/PwD / Third Gender: ₹325/-

How to Apply for UGC-NET June 2026 (Step-by-Step)

1. Visit the official website: https://ugcnet.nta.nic.in/
2. Click on the UGC-NET June 2026 registration link.
3. Complete New Registration using your valid email ID and mobile number (or use Meri Pehchaan – Single Sign-On service for convenience).
4. Fill in personal, educational, and contact details carefully.
5. Choose your subject (must match your post-graduation) and preferred exam cities.
6. Upload scanned documents: Photograph, Signature, and Category/PwD certificate (if applicable).
7. Pay the application fee online (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI).
8. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
